The Wiser Window/Door Smart Sensor detects opened and closed windows and doors, and reports the status to the Wiser Hub. When the sensor is connected to the Wiser Hub and the window/door is opened or closed, the sensor reports the change to the Wiser Hub.

My Wiser battery device is showing the battery is almost flat, can I replace the battery and what do I replace it with?

All battery devices in the Wiser range have pictograms on how to change the battery in the instructions, which are available on the appropriate product page on our website (https://www.clipsal.com/products/wiser-smart-home-solutions). It also states the type of battery used for each unit.

My Wiser battery device is showing the battery is almost flat, but it hasn’t been 5 years?

The battery devices state Up to 5 years and that this may vary based on the default settings, usage, frequency of firmware updates and the environment its placed in. 
For example if the Temperature/Humidity sensor was placed where temperature fluctuation were happening frequently this would increase the number of reports it sends and therefore increase the battery usage when compared to one that is reporting less frequently.
