GLOBAL / LOCAL RELAY SETTING
Both the 755PSMA2 and 755RLPSMA2 smoke alarms have a ‘Global / Local’ switch located on them (see the diagram below). This switch is only used for operation with the 755RB
relay mounting base.
• When the ‘Global / Local’ switch is set to ‘Local’, only activation of the physically connected alarm will cause the relay to operate.
• When the ‘Global / Local’ switch is set to ‘Global’, activation of any smoke alarm that is interconnected with the base causes the relay to operate.
• The default setting is ‘Global’.
